PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — President Trump is expected to arrive in South Florida on Friday to celebrate the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

The FAA said VIP flight restrictions will be in place in the West Palm Beach area from Friday, Dec. 21 through Sunday, Jan. 6.

In addition, road closures around the President's Mar-a-Lago resort on Palm Beach start no later than Friday at 5 a.m.

During the closure period, all forms of travel, including pedestrian travel, are prohibited on S. Ocean Boulevard from the intersection of S. County Road to Southern Boulevard.

The travel restrictions will also extend eastward to the ocean. Marine security zones will be in effect during this period.

The President and First Lady most recently visited his Mar-a-Lago resort on Palm Beach over Thanksgiving, meeting with Coast Guard members and also hosting Thanksgiving dinner.
