The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County tweeted a warning Wednesday about the scam.

Gov. Ron DeSantis issued an executive order on December 23 mandating citizens 65 and older would be among the first people in the general public to receive the vaccine.
Some seniors in Pasco County recently arrived at vaccination centers expecting to have appointments, only to find out their reservation was bogus, the Tampa Bay Times reported.
Health departments in Palm Beach, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties tweeted a warning to seniors that “You should NOT be charged to register. Registration is FREE.”
The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County recommends people use the email address chd50feedback@flhealth.gov to request a vaccination appointment. Make sure to include your name, phone number and date of birth in the email.
