An earlier lockdown Thursday at John I. Leonard High School in Greenacres has now been lifted.
Police had said they were looking for a burglary suspect in the area. All students at the school are safe.
It's unclear if police found the burglar.
The lockdown began around 11:26 a.m. and was lifted about 45 minutes later.
The school district reminds parents that staff and students are not supposed to use their phones during a lockdown. If someone calls the school's front office during a lockdown it's unlikely they will get an answer.
