A bicyclist died after riding into the path of a car Saturday night in central Palm Beach County.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says 50-year-old David Guerero was attempting to cross Hypoluxo Road at Lantern Key Drive from north to south at 8:09 p.m. while riding a bicycle.
He rode into the path of an oncoming 2014 BMW and impacted the right front of the car.
Guerero was ejected from the bicycle and struck his head on the windshield of the car and then fell to the ground.
He came to final rest in the center through lane of westbound Hypoluxo Road.
According to PBSO, the bicycle had no lights or side reflectors on it and Guerero was wearing dark, non-reflective clothing.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
