The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said a student was taken to a hospital Thursday morning after their foot was run over by a school bus.
The incident happened in the 600 block of South E St. near Sixth Avenue South at about 8:45 a.m.
PBSO said students were approaching the bus before it came to a complete stop. That's when a boy, who is about 12 years old, had his foot run over.
The student was transported to a hospital for evaluation.
PBSO said a parent of the injured child, and the school board were notified.
