LAKE WORTH INLET, Fla. -- The U.S. Coast Guard rescued a missing diver 7 nautical miles north of the Lake Worth Inlet Tuesday evening.
The 28-year-old male diver was reported missing at 6 p.m. after failing to return from a dive.
The Coast Guard launched a search effort and the diver was spotted by a helicopter at 7:30 p.m.
The diver was transported back to a boat by rescue crews and did not require medical assistance, according to the USCG.
