Two men kicked in a door at a Family Dollar in Lake Worth and stole $400 in merchandise, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
They tried to remove a safe behind a counter but were not successful, the sheriff's office said.
The burglary happened Saturday between 4:19 and 4:31 a.m. at the store in the 1200 block of South Dixie Highway.
Investigators say one suspect wore black pants and an orange shirt. The other wore a black tank top, white ball cap and green and black camouflage shorts.
