LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. — The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is still looking for any clues that might help them locate the killer of a Lake Worth Beach store owner.
Jorge Vargas Cruz was killed in August.
The crime happened at a clothing store in Lake Worth Beach, right off I-95.
Investigators with the sheriff's office say the store and none of the surrounding businesses had surveillance cameras.
Deputies are still looking for a motive or any witnesses.
This week detectives and the victim's family passed out flyers and pleaded with the community for help with the case.
"And i just hope they catch the person that's responsible for this brutal crime. thank you and God bless you, said Gerard Carderelli, the victim's stepfather."
After the shooting, the sheriff's office encouraged all local business's owners to invest in security cameras.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office immediately.
