Subway robbery suspect arrested

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man suspected of robbing a Subway employee at knifepoint.

Patrick Carlin, 26, was arrested after the sheriff's office circulated surveillance video of the robbery.

It showed a man jumping over the counter with a knife in his hand.

Carlin, who is from Holland, Pennsylvania, is charged with robbery with a weapon and drug equipment, possession and/or use.

His bond was set at $50,000.

Unknown armed suspect entered Subway and committed an armed robbery. The male suspect is described as a white male, approximately 25 – 35 years of age, 5’07 – 5’10” foot tall and slender/muscular build. He was wearing a blue shirt, white shorts with a black strip, black sneakers with a white sole and a black fitted baseball hat. This incident occurred on April 4, 2016 at 8:45 pm. Subway is located in the 200 block of South Dixie Highway, Lake Worth. Anyone who can identify this suspect is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
