UPDATE: Doug Yoakum, the city of Lake Worth Beach beach aquatics manager, said Thursday morning that the swim advisory at Kreusler Park has been lifted.
EARLIER STORY: For the second time this month, a "no swim" advisory has been issued for Kreusler Park in Lake Worth Beach.
Health officials said recent sampling showed bacterial levels in the water to be more than 71 colonies per milliliter of marine water -- putting it in the "poor" range.

Causes of the elevated bacteria level are unknown but heavy rains, high surf and heavy traffic can contribute.
Generally poor ratings are associated with wildlife, heavy recreational usage, high surf from high winds and high tides or runoff following heavy rains.
On July 10, the health department issued a no swim advisory for Kreusler Park, but it was lifted a day later.
