The power went out in parts of Lake Worth Wednesday morning.
More than 2,600 customers were affected due to a lightning arrestor failure, according to Lake Worth Utilities.
The power outage was between First Ave. South to Eleventh Ave. South, between South A Street and the Intracoastal Waterway, the utility said.
A check of the map showing active outages later indicated the problem had been fixed. The city confirmed the restoration of power in a tweet.
Last month a power outage impacted 27,000 customers.
We are very sorry for the earlier power outage, a lightning arrestor failed and tripped the breaker. Crews have restored power and are working to replace the failed lightning arrestor. pic.twitter.com/5d9FxjuMD6
