One person was killed and another was injured after a double shooting Sunday night in Lantana.
36-year-old Pedro Juan Clemente Verdejo has been identified as the victim.
The chief of the Lantana Police Department said the shooting occurred around 11 p.m. at the 100 block of East Central Boulevard near Dixie Highway.
The victim who survived the shooting, 27-year-old Ramon Javier Rivera Rodriguez, was taken to the hospital with wounds to the leg.
Police do not believe the shooting is random, nor do they believe there is a threat to the public at this time.
No suspect information, and no arrests have been released.
