A two-vehicle crash sent two people to the hospital and knocked down power lines in Lantana Sunday afternoon, officials say.
The accident happened shortly after 3 p.m. at the intersection of North Broadway and Minnesota Street.
According to Lantana police, one vehicle traveling westbound on Minnesota Street ran a stop sign hitting the vehicle traveling northbound on Broadway Street. The cars struck an utility pole, knocking down power lines.
FPL crews are working to fix the street light taken out in the crash. No homes were affected.
Both drivers were transported to JFK Medical Center with minor injuries.
