PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. -- A man has died from injuries sustained in a car crash last week.
On Sunday, April 21, 2019 at 8:30 p.m., Alla K. Mohamad Juma of Lake Worth was traveling westbound on Hypoluxo Road at a high rate of speed, approaching the intersection of Haverhill Road in a 2016 Ford Taurus.
At the same time, Lindsay Cadieux of suburban Lake Worth Beach was traveling eastbound on Hypoluxo Road, in a 2017 Lexus SUV, attempting to turn left and travel north on Haverhill Road.
The traffic signal for east/west traffic on Hypoluxo Road was green as Juma continued traveling westbound through the intersection.
Cadieux did not observe Juma's high rate of speed and began turning left directly into Juma's path of travel.
During the collision, the front of Juma's vehicle collided with the passenger side of Cadieux's vehicle.
Juma was flown via Trauma Hawk to Delray Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
Cadieux was transported to John F. Kennedy Medical Center with serious injuries and her 7-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries.
On Friday, April 26, 2019 at 12:15 a.m., Alla K. Mohamd Juma succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
