PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — For many of us, the coronavirus pandemic is wrecking havoc... on our hair!
With countless salons closed, it's tough to get our hair cut, styled, straightened, and especially colored.
But thankfully, a Palm Beach County stylist is here to help.

Tabitha Woodfork, a hair care professional who works at Salon Mikimoto in Palm Beach Gardens and The Spa at Trump National Golf Club, is helping women color their hair themselves during this time of social distancing.
"I’m providing the tools. I have brushes, gloves, and I do have the color already customized and rationed out," said Woodfork.
Woodfork is walking women through the process, step by step, via FaceTime and Zoom video conferencing.

For $60, the skilled stylist will send you a custom hair coloring kit which includes "personally selected and tailored hair coloring products."
You'll then FaceTime or Zoom with Woodfork, who will walk you through the steps to color your hair at home.
"They just have to blend it in with developer, mix it, and usually the processing time is 30 to 35 minutes," said Woodfork.
"My daughter helped me by following the instructions and FaceTiming with Tabitha," said Fran Buckley, one of Woodfork's clients. "I improvised a little bit by using a plastic trash bag as my cape, so to speak."
Woodfork said that before the COVID-19 pandemic, she would see around eight clients a day. Now she's hoping these kits will serve as a temporary solution for her and her clients during this time of social distancing.
"I just want my beauties to be safe and healthy so when this all passes, they can come see me and I don’t have to have a lot of color correction," laughed Woodfork.
