PALM BEACH, Fla. — Guests and staff at the Chesterfield hotel in Palm Beach were evacuated after a fire broke out Saturday.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters with the town of Palm Beach are being assisted by crews from Palm Beach County and West Palm Beach.
Sean Baker with Palm Beach Fire Rescue says he believes the blaze started in the restaurant.
Palm Beach Fire Rescue Chief Darrel Donatto said, "When they got up to the roof area, they found some hotspots. They opened up the roof and they found some actually fires in the wall at the roof level. So they’ve opened that up. Pretty big area that’s been burned up there."
