A 78-year-old woman has died from her injuries after the car she was a passenger in crashed and hit a palm tree, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
The driver of the car lost control along Golden Lakes Boulevard in central Palm Beach County on February 22, PBSO said. The car traveled over several parking stops within a parking lot before hitting the tree, a sheriff's office report stated.
The driver received minor injuries.
The passenger, identified as Nancy Silberman, passed away four days after the crash, PBSO said.
