Dozens of new jobs are coming to Palm Beach County.
Governor Rick Scott announced those jobs during his visit at a Riviera Beach company today.
He toured Radise, a company that tests building materials and structures to make sure they're built correctly.
Sixty IT and engineering jobs will be created during the next five years at the company. This will add to the existing workforce of 50.
"What's exciting today is Radise has recently acquired a company in Pennsylvania," said Governor Scott. "But rather than keeping those jobs up there, they moved the division to the great state of Florida and they will be adding 60 more Florida jobs."
Governor Scott also added, "It's fun to watch people build a business and change people's lives by giving them a job, and think about what all the employees are doing here by helping other people get a job."
Florida Atlantic University has accepted the "Ready, Set, Work" challenge. Radise plans to employ students from the program.
The company is sponsoring an engineering student to attend FAU.
