Investigators said a suspicious package Thursday at a Riviera Beach apartment building actually contained a "large amount of marijuana."
The package was delivered to the Stonybrook Apartments complex located at 1555 Dr. Martin Luther Boulevard.
Police said the package was left at an apartment in building N by a delivery company between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
The resident alerted police because he had not ordered anything and considered the package suspicious because of recent package explosions in Austin, Texas.
Palm Beach County Sheriff Department personnel later determined that the package contained marijuana.
Anyone with related information is asked to contact Riviera Beach Police at (561) 845-4123 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 458-TIPS.
