RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. — A Riviera Beach community marching band is playing a happy tune after receiving a generous $22,000 donation.
The 'Sounds of Success' marching band is made up of more than 50 musicians, dancers, and drum majors of all ages, and is working to promote a crime-free community.
The group got some good news this week when they received a massive anonymous donation. Band director Antoine Miller said the money will be put to good use.
"The help is grateful, so with the money I'm going to use it to grow the band and make S.O.S. look brand new and give back to the community through music," said Miller.
Band membership is $20 dollars per month and they are currently looking for more high school and college age members.
