RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. -- Two people were sitting on the shore near the Riviera Beach City Marina when a wave pulled them into the water Tuesday morning.
According to Riviera Beach Fire Rescue, a nearby surfer was able to pull them to safety.
Both individuals were transported to St. Mary's Medical Center for evaluation.
Over the weekend rough weather at the beach caused minor injuries to a young girl who was swept into the water by a wave washing over the jetty at the Jupiter Inlet.
The girl was quickly pulled out of the water by an adult. She suffered a cut to the head as well as cuts and bruises.
