ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. — A car crashed into a Planet Fitness on Tuesday morning in Royal Palm Beach.
The crash occurred just after 8 a.m. at the Planet Fitness on Southern Boulevard.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue spokeswoman Tara Cardoso said the car crashed through the glass facade, but nobody was injured.
Chopper 5 was above the scene as the car was being removed and placed onto the back of a flatbed truck.
Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Teri Barbera said the 40-year-old driver was attempting to park her car when she accidentally stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake.
