ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. — Firefighters in Royal Palm Beach extinguished a car that was engulfed by flames late Wednesday night in Royal Palm Beach.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said the blaze broke out around 10 p.m. at Alcazar Street and Infanta Avenue.
Dramatic cell phone video obtained by WPTV shows the vehicle, possibly a Mercedes or BMW, swallowed by bright flames in the middle of the street.

Neighbors said they heard a boom which rattled homes and blew out windows along the block.
"It made the whole house shake," said Carlye Lemke. "My dog was afraid. We were like, what the heck happened? It shook me for a minute."
"It basically felt like thunder was happening inside the room," said Thomas Long. "I have glass all the way to the end of my walkway."
Our WPTV crew on scene Thursday afternoon spotted shattered windows at several houses and glass littering the street.
Amazingly, no one was hurt.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said there was no explosion, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
