A local woman missing for months in Southern California has been found safe, authorities said Monday.
27-year-old Leah Rose Altmann of Royal Palm Beach disappeared last August after going to Los Angeles to pursue a music career.

According to a Facebook post dedicated to finding Altmann, her family followed up on a tip that she had been seen.
The family has not yet provided any details about where Altmann was found.
