One person was rushed to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into a commercial building in Royal Palm Beach Saturday afternoon, according to Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
The accident happened at 12:55 p.m. in the 1,000 Block of Royal Palm Beach Blvd.
Officials say an occupant of the building was pinned between a wall and the vehicle. The patient was extricated and transported to a local area hospital via Trauma Hawk.
The driver of the vehicle was evaluated and not transported.
Two buildings were evacuated. A building inspector is on scene to evaluate the structure.
