Two law enforcement agencies were called to 1701 Barbados Road in Lake Clarke Shores following the discovery of a suspicious package.
Police say a woman showed up at the police department after a 'domestic issue' with the package from a family member who threatened to harm her.
As a precaution Lake Clarke Shores Town Hall and the police department were evacuated.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue were called for assistance.
A robot was used to examine the package. Police say the contents contained material used in the practice of voodoo.
The material was placed into evidence and the case remains under investigation.
