WELLINGTON, Fla. — The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said a school bus was involved in a crash with a golf cart Thursday morning in Wellington, injuring a woman.
The wreck occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Pierson Road near South Shore Boulevard.
The golf cart was heading south and crossed into the path of the westbound bus, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.
All eastbound and westbound lanes were closed during the investigation.

The sheriff's office said one high school student was on the bus, along with the bus driver, but neither were hurt.
A woman on the golf cart was ejected as a result of the collision and suffered serious injuries. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said she transported to the hospital by medical helicopter.
