Wellington says it has fixed its online payment system for utility customers.
Earlier this month a vendor notified the village about vulnerabilities in software and potential unauthorized charges on credit cards used by customers to pay their utility bills.
The village says it is safe for customers to use their credit cards to pay bills through its online portal.
