A karate studio was one of the last businesses to board up their store front at the Wellington Town Square Plaza on Wednesday night.

Across the parking lot, Publix and CVS were open welcoming shoppers trying to get some last-minute essentials. But, not all shoppers were looking for milk and bread.

“I spent the day putting up shutters. I’m all done. So, I’m going to go in there and relax,” said Rod Buell a Publix shopper in Wellington.

“We’re going to go get Pub Subs,” said Ethan Kramer after a long day of working on his family’s home.

One mother says, she’ll make as many trips to the store as she can to make sure her kids are ready for Matthew.

“I think it’s difficult, because what am I going to substitute for meals? So, I think it is a lot harder, said Krystle Olivo about the difficulties of preparing for a storm with young children.
