WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- One person died after being struck by a train in West Palm Beach Saturday morning.
The man was identified as 21-year-old Conor J. Scherle of Fairfield, Pennsylvania.
According to police, the train that struck Scherle was gone prior to police notification.
Police believe he was struck at around 4 a.m.
The intersection of Quadrille Boulevard and Okeechobee Boulevard was temporarily closed in the westbound direction police conducted their investigation.
