VIDEO: Men injured in overnight fight, stabbing in downtown West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — West Palm Beach police said two men were injured overnight after a fight and stabbing.

According to Sgt. David Lefont, an aggravated battery occurred at 3:09 a.m. Monday, along the 200 block of Clematis Street.

Surveillance video obtained by WPTV on Monday shows a scuffle break out in front of a row of businesses. During the fight, several heat lamps are knocked over.

Sgt. Lefont said a preliminary investigation revealed that several people were involved in an altercation, resulting with two adult men being stabbed.

At least two people involved were in a bar prior to the incident and alcohol was involved, police said.

Both men were transported to nearby hospitals in stable condition. Detectives are attempting to gather information from witnesses.

On Monday afternoon, city workers were seen pressure washing the sidewalks where the stabbing occurred.
