WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The new COVID-19 drive-through testing site that opened Tuesday at the FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches has been inundated by calls and appointments this week.

So much so, that the Health Care District of Palm Beach County said the screening hotline was not accepting calls on Wednesday.

However, 1,000 test kits are being flown into the county Wednesday night, and the Health Care District will pick them up Thursday morning.

The Health Care District will open the call center at 8 a.m. to resume scheduling additional appointments for Saturday.
