A woman was charged with arson Tuesday morning after a house was destroyed overnight by fire in West Palm Beach.
Shortly after 2 a.m., officers responded along the 500 block of Division Ave. for the fire. The blaze was deemed suspicious and was found unoccupied.
While at the scene, witnesses identified Tarra Stuckey, 31, as a suspect in the case. Stuckey was detained and transported to the police department.
Police said Stuckey later acknowledged being in the area but denied involvement in the fire.
Based on witnesses statements and soot on her body and clothing, Stuckey was charged with arson.
