WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews responded to reports of a drowning at Waverly Apartments in West Palm Beach Saturday at 4:15 p.m.
PBCFR says first arriving crews were told by bystanders that a child had gone missing in the canal behind the apartment complex.
Fire Rescue divers entered the canal and searched for the missing child.
PBCFR says the child was located after an extensive search and transported to a local hospital.
