The West Palm Beach Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash overnight that killed a 33-year-old man.
Shortly after midnight Wednesday, police said the victim was walking east to west along the 5600 block of Greenwood Ave. when he fell.
A 1998-1999 spruce silver metallic-colored Toyota Avalon was traveling south and struck and struck the victim.
The vehicle continued south on Greenwood Avenue and then west on 45th Street.
Police said the Avalon has tires that extend outside the wheel well (fender underside), and a right fog lamp should be missing.
Police identified the victim as Michael Hayden of Miller Creek, North Carolina.
