WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A special salute was held for fathers in West Palm Beach on Sunday.
The Pleasant City Family Reunion Committee held its 18th Father's Day celebration at the Marriott Hotel CityPlace.
NewsChannel 5's Arthur Mondale was the master of ceremonies for the event.
The reunion committee has honored fathers for their contribution and service to the community
This year's "father of the year" went to U.S. Rep. Alcee Hastings, who is serving his 12th term in Congress representing parts of Palm Beach County.
