WPTV contacted the Florida Department of Transportation to get some answers.
FDOT who is responsible for maintaining the lighting in this area of I-95 says they are working to fix the problem.
A spokeswoman told WPTV the issue is with a transformer on 45th Street that powers the lighting. They say a maintenance contractor has notified FPL of the issue.
FDOT says FPL will need to restore power to the affected area.
