Fire engine hit by taxi in West Palm Beach

Three people were injured following a multi-vehicle accident involving a fire engine, according to a West Palm Beach Fire Rescue spokesperson.

Officials say a fire engine was hit by a taxi after the taxi got into an accident with another vehicle.

The accident happened around 11 a.m. in the intersection of Florida Mango and Belvedere Road.

Firefighters extricated the taxi driver from the vehicle. He was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

A woman and a child from a passenger vehicle were transported to with minor injuries.

No firefighters sustained injuries.
