WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.-- On day four of the Nouman Raja trial prosecutors recalled a witness who testified earlier. They went into more detail about the red flickering light Raja claims he saw off Corey Jones’s gun.

Attorneys called Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office crime scene investigator Keith Thomas, and what he showed jurors is expected to be a big focal point of the trial.

On the morning the former Palm Beach Gardens police officer shot Jones he said Jones pointed a gun at him and he saw a red flickering light that looked like a LaserMax gun.

The CSI tried to recreate that effect and took a video of it. In it you can clearly see a red light reflected off the gun, but the witness said it's not what a LaserMax gun would look like.

Jurors were not shown what a real LaserMax gun looks like.

Raja is accused of manslaughter and attempted murder. Prosecutors have had witnesses testify that the safety on Jones's gun was on and was never fired.
