PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla-- It's that time of year. "This morning when I got up I thought 'woah, this is cold,' " Michael Chronicle said.
So like any Floridian, Chronicle made sure to layer up when the temperatures dropped. "I had gloves on, I had the hoodie on, I had everything on. I was totally geared up," he said.
But his friend Alice Duryee from New York isn't convinced. "No there's a bunch of wimps down here it's gorgeous out," she said.
But down the block, you'll find more people buying into the cold. "Everyone wants a nice hot beverage," Sean Scott said.
Scott is the co-owner of Subculture Coffee in downtown West Palm Beach. He says cooler temperatures bring in more business.
"It less grab and go and people are savoring the drinks," he said. "It feels refreshing."
