WEST PALM BEACH, Fla-- It was an emotional day in court Wednesday for the family of the Palm Beach property manager shot in the head almost two years ago.

The man charged with pulling the trigger will spend the next 20 year behind bars.

Wednesday 74 year-old Charles Croghan accepted a plea deal for shooting his former boss in the head.
It is the justice the victim's family has been waiting for.

We heard strong words from a mother speaking directly to man accused of shooting her son in the head.

"May you reached the gates of hell wearing a gasoline soaked duck suit. Sir."

The man she was talking to Charles Croghan.
Croghan was a disgruntled, former doorman at the President of Palm Beach condominiums.

He was accused of shooting his boss Jeremy Holland and then threatening to shoot Holland's girlfriend Dana as well.
Wednesday he plead guilty to the charges including attempted murder.

"He is not going to see the light of day. He is 74. That’s basically is a life sentence,” said Dana after court.

It’s been a long road to recovery for Jeremy. He's now able to walk with a cane, and he says today’s sentence helps his healing process even more.

"It’s great to see that guy go away,” said Jeremy.
