WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.-- It's a big day at Seagull Services in Palm Beach County. It's a place for individuals who are developmentally and physically disabled.
Tuesday they received a hair makeover.
For Kristy Snyder and her friends, it's a haircut they can't afford. "I can look good for my parents and for my grandpa."
Hair stylists donated three hours of their day cutting and trimming hair.
Rosie Maltass started giving of her time 17 years ago. "It gives me great joy. I love making them feel special and they feel great and most of them never have haircuts. They feel beautiful and that's what I like to do."
Toni Greenan with Great Clips in Palm Beach Gardens said: "It just feels good to give back." Isabel Bernal another hair cutter said: "I'm so excited and happy to help people."
Many were thankful and looking forward to a new look just in time for the organization's holiday dance.
"It's great, I like it and they do a good job," one Seagull Services client added.
