Gunfire claims life of 66-year-old man in West Palm Beach

West Palm Beach police said Monday they are still looking for the person connected to a fatal shooting last weekend.

On Feb. 26 just after midnight, two victims were shot while inside their residence at the 900 block of 36th Street.  

Police said one of the victims, identified as Melvin Koon, 66, died from his injuries a day after the shooting. 

Officers said the identity of the surviving victim is not being released at this time.

According to a police news release, two people who were arrested after a pursuit the same evening are not considered suspects in this case.
