Charges are pending in an overnight felony traffic stop in West Palm Beach.

Half a dozen officers were seen making a stop along Clearwater Drive and Banyan Boulevard around 3:30 a.m. Friday.

Officers said they first responded to the city parking garage along the 200 block of Banyan Blvd. Someone reported an armed man yelling next to a black Mercedes. The subject and additional men entered the Mercedes and left the parking garage.

Officers came across a dark Mercedes along Clearwater Drive.  They said four men were identified and three handguns located. One man had a valid concealed carry permit.

Police said the men provided conflicting statements as to the owners of the guns.  The three handguns were seized pending proof of ownership and processing.

All of the people involved consented to a DNA standard and were released. Charges are pending.

Police said this is an active investigation.
