A WPTV viewer sent NewsChannel 5 video and pictures of an ibis with a stick through its body.
The bird was found at Currie Park in West Palm Beach.
It was first thought the stick may have been an arrow, but an animal expert told NewsChannel 5 that it could possibly be a piece of wood the bird was hit with during Hurricane Matthew.
The bird can fly. Animal rescuers say it would be very difficult to catch it.
