WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Investigators have arrested a man in a 12-year-old cold case murder in West Palm Beach.
On June 10, 2006, police said a body was set on fire in the 800 block of Lytle Street.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said the investigation, involving multiple agencies, eventually led them to 38-year-old Ronald Charles.
But before he could be arrested, Charles fled the U.S. to the Bahamas, according to PBSO.
Earlier this month, he was located and arrested in the Bahamas.
Charles is now in the Palm Beach County Jail facing several charges including murder without premeditation, robbery with a firearm, and destroying evidence.
