A West Palm Beach man convicted of killing his teenage lover will find out Wednesday how long he willl spend in prison. Sentencing for Brandon Nicholas Santos is set for this afternoon.

Court records show a jury convicted Santos of first degree murder earlier this month. A judge will almost certainly sentence Santos to life in prison.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office arrested Santos in September 2012 for the murder of Emili Sineace.

The arrest report from 2012 reveals Santos, 18 at the time, was in a relationship with 16-year-old Sineace as well as another woman with whom he shared a child.

Detectives wrote Santos told them in 2012 that he was upset with Sineace for comments she made about his child, so he shot her three times outside her suburban Lake Worth home.
