WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A man is dead after a hit-and-run accident in West Palm Beach Friday night.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says 38-year-old Chauncy Williams was crossing Okeechobee Boulevard east of Indian Road at 11:53 p.m. when a vehicle believed to be a white 1999-2003 Ford F150 pickup struck him.
The truck fled the scene following the accident. The vehicle is beleived to have damage to the front passenger side near the headlight and grill area.
