WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- West Palm Beach police received a report of gunfire at the Marathon gas station at 1840 Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard at approximately 6:30 Friday night.
As officers arrived at the scene, a witness directed them to a man fleeing the area on foot.
Police say the man was detained and a gun was recovered.
A man was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center with a gunshot wound. Police say the injury is non-life threatening.
