WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Police have identified the man who they say shot at two officers Thursday.
Bullets from 32-year-old Thomas Haslom of Riviera Beach struck the officers' vehicles in the 400 block of 48th Street, police said.
Police fired back and chased Haslom on foot, but lost him in the neighborhood.
A K9 unit found him in the backyard of a home at 5011 North Flagler Dr., police said.
They say he was treated for a dog bite injury and a firearm was recovered.
Police have charged Haslom with two counts of attempted murder of a law enforcement officer and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. They say Haslom has nine felony convictions and 28 felony arrests.
